What to know about Soma labels
Soma labels its bras in US sizes and publishes one size table per cup on its website: A, B, C, D, DD, DDD, G and H, each in bands 32 to 44. After DDD the brand writes G, not DDDD. For every size the chart gives an under band measurement and a bust measurement, in inches or in centimetres.
Soma's chart ties each band number to an under band range of its own: 27 to 28½ inches for a 32, 29 to 30½ for a 34, 31 to 33½ for a 36. The underbust columns of the tables on this page follow Cherry Size's tables, not Soma's, so the two do not always give the same band for the same measurement: Soma's chart is the reference for Soma.
Soma bralettes and sports bras use letter sizes, XS to XXXL, and the chart matches each one to bra sizes between 30A and 44G (34B is S, 36C is M). Those letter sizes are not in these tables.
How US sizes work
A US size is a band number and a cup letter. The band is an inch-based label (30, 32, 34…) shared with UK sizes. After D, most US brands go DD, DDD, G, H, I, J (some write DDDD for G, and a US G is a UK F), where UK cups go DD, E, F, FF, G, GG, H, HH, J. EU and French sizes number the band differently: a US 34 band is 75 in EU sizes and 90 in French sizes.

Which measurements match Soma bra sizes?
Two measurements decide the size: the underbust gives the band, and the difference between bust and underbust gives the cup. In Cherry Size's conversion tables (not the brand's own chart), a 34C corresponds to an underbust of about 72.5–77.5 cm and a bust of about 86–94 cm; the brand's guide may place it differently. The band and cup tables above give these ranges for every size in the range.
How do Soma bra sizes convert to UK sizes?
Soma uses US sizes. Converting to UK sizes: the band number stays the same; cups DDD → E, G → F and H → FF, the other letters unchanged. For example, 34DDD becomes 34E.
