What to know about Aerie labels

Aerie, American Eagle's lingerie label, sells its bras in US sizes such as 34C: an inch-based band number, then a cup letter. After DD its cups go DDD, G and H; there is no DDDD. In October 2026 the size filter of its online store listed bands 30 to 42, from 32AA and 34AA up to 34H and 36H, while the largest bands stopped earlier (42DD).

Many Aerie bralettes and soft bras come in letter sizes instead, XXS to XXL, some with a cup hint such as S D or M DD. Those are not band-and-cup sizes and are not in these tables.

The Size Details chart on each Aerie product page crosses an underbust range in inches with a bust measurement and often names two neighbouring sizes in one cell (34B-34C). Its International tab repeats the US letters in the UK column (32DDD, 34G), although UK labels write those cups E and F. Its EU column also changes rule past DD (34DDD is EU 75G there but 38DDD is EU 85F): the tables on this page apply one rule to every band.

How US sizes work

A US size is a band number and a cup letter. The band is an inch-based label (30, 32, 34…) shared with UK sizes. After D, most US brands go DD, DDD, G, H, I, J (some write DDDD for G, and a US G is a UK F), where UK cups go DD, E, F, FF, G, GG, H, HH, J. EU and French sizes number the band differently: a US 34 band is 75 in EU sizes and 90 in French sizes.

Aerie sizes are US sizes. According to Aerie's online store (ae.com, October 2026), the range covers bands 30–42 and cups up to H. The tables above give each of them in EU, FR, UK and JP sizing; for example, a 34C from Aerie is EU 75C, FR 90C, UK 34C and JP C75.

How does the Aerie size chart in inches work?

On each product page, Aerie's Size Details chart takes your underbust in inches (rows such as 29" to 31") and your bust in inches (30" to 46") and gives the size where the two meet; when a measurement falls between two sizes, the cell names both, as in 34B-34C. In Cherry Size's tables (not Aerie's), a 34 band matches an underbust of about 28.5–30.5 in (72.5–77.5 cm), and the cup table above gives the bust-minus-underbust difference in inches for every cup.

How do Aerie bra sizes convert to UK sizes?

Aerie uses US sizes. Converting to UK sizes: the band number stays the same; cups DDD → E, G → F and H → FF, the other letters unchanged. For example, 34DDD becomes 34E.

Is there an Aerie bra size calculator?

Is an Aerie size the same as a Victoria's Secret size?

Both brands label their bras in US sizes, so a 34C is written the same way at both.
